Pregnancy and Postnatal Hypnosis
(Home Visits)

A 'massage for the mind' to support calm and emotional wellbeing

This one-to-one hypnosis session offers a deeply relaxing, supportive space to quiet the mind and gently work through unwanted thoughts, feelings, or habits. You’ll be guided into a calm, focused state similar to meditation, while remaining fully aware and in control. Many clients describe it as deeply restful, allowing the conscious mind to pause while the body and mind relax. During your session, you’ll also have the option to learn self-hypnosis techniques to use independently at home.

Is this treatment right for you?

Hypnosis is ideal if you want a gentle, empowering approach to manage stress, support mental wellbeing, or tackle habits in a safe, home-based setting.

It can be booked as a one-off session or as part of a short course (three sessions recommended) for best results with ongoing concerns.

Is Hypnosis the same as Hypnobirthing?

While both use relaxation and focused mental techniques, hypnosis is not the same as hypnobirthing.

In this session, I use clinical hypnosis to support you in working through unwanted thoughts, feelings, or habits, helping your mind and body relax and regain balance. It is not a childbirth preparation or labour technique, but can be used to treat fear of birth and anxiety.

Hypnobirthing specifically teaches techniques to prepare for labour and birth, whereas clinical hypnosis focuses on your individual wellbeing, stress relief, and behaviour change.

If your goal is to prepare for labour, please note that this session does not replace hypnobirthing courses, but it can complement them by supporting emotional wellbeing and mental clarity.

Comfort & positioning

Sessions take place in the comfort of your home. You’ll be supported in a comfortable chair or space of your choice, allowing you to relax fully while receiving personalised care. It's important that the session takes place in a time and space that you won't be disturbed.

Suitable from conception to 12 weeks postnatally

Hypnosis is suitable for pregnant or early postnatal clients, with techniques adapted to your stage and needs.

Did You Know?

Hypnosis works by calming the nervous system and reducing mental “noise”, helping the mind become more receptive to positive change while you remain fully aware and in control.

If you’re unsure whether hypnosis is right for you, please get in touch before booking. I’ll be happy to discuss your goals and advise on the most suitable approach.

All treatments are offered as home visits across Witham, Chelmsford, Maldon, Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon and Tiptree, as well as surrounding areas.
